I need to get writing again. Just because I’ve stopped with TX doesn’t not mean I can stop all literature. I guess my thoughts of COMPETITION keep putting me down. I must start a new story, free from bounds of my friend’s style or preference. Something totally me. It;s hard, though. What can I write that hasn’t already been written? What story has not already been done to death?

I was thinking maybe Time Travel story featuring twists and turns with some inspiration from the Anime Death Note but I’m starting disregard it. There are other themes like Mystery and Horror. So I was pondering maybe I should mix them. A Time Travel theme with Mystery and horror. But It would be too messy and hard trying to keep up with all the themes. I could do a twisted story about a stalker… maybe. I’ve been practicing drawing my Anime… I suck. All I’ve been able to create right now are rookie colouring and shadings of other people’s drawings. Brought back down again by other Deviant Artist’s and their amazing skill at such young ages. It makes my attempts feel inferior. I don’t think I should continue this skill. I really am trying out many things. Literature, Reviews, Art… what next? Well… Devil May Cry will always feel like home to me. Ahem, excuse me… back to my works.

So that’s it… I have to wait until my mind is made up about what to write next. I feel attracted to do some Devil May Cry fan fiction. I do feel safe working around an environment like that and I don’t think it restricts me… I think it opens me up. Here is a Devil May Cry 3 parody video.

I should probably make a DMC 3 combo vid but I don’t think I have the skill. CRITICAL types of gameplay and SS rank combo videos are only recognised as GOOD combo vids. I tend to do tricks with the characters. Something like rebounding of three enemies at once, twirling Cerberus and then using the shotgun to create this spinning flower move. It’s quite amusing to see, but if it’s not SS, people will not like it. And people also don’t like it if you do not satisfy the STYLE meter. As cool as that is (SStylish, anyone?) there are things only humans can see and class as Stylish. So a DMC combo vid from me is probably not going to happen.

Not Acceptable

So I decided to create a test character in Flash. As far as my drawing goes, I’m decent with a pencil and paper, which is above average if you think about it. Yes, yes, we see all kinds of amazing and truly mind imploding art around us. Animated movies, Internet animations, Anime, Anime movies and fan art. It’s all beautiful and so very respectable. But when it comes down to the average person, with a pencil and paper, the best you can get is a simple stick man. So for me being decent, I mean I’m able to at least draw an Anime character with some structure.

But this time I had to do it on Flash 8. This a first. I’ve done backgrounds and movement. But now a person? Tough one… so I kept with the cartoon look. I started off by making a simple stick outline for me to work off of.

And then a bit of this and that and it ended up like this:

No, not very good. Not very good AT ALL. This catastrophe that is called a Flash drawing is not acceptable. If I am to move forward, I must improve VASTLY on my Flash skill. At least with drawing people, anyway. As you can see, everything looks very bad. The limbs are out of proportion, every thing is badly drawn and coloured. This is a pathetic excuse for a pixelated drawing and will not do. It will not do at all. So for the next week I’ll try my hardest to fit in some practice with Flash. This will be hard because I have a lot of Japanese study to do.

Thinking of updating this Blog’s look. Maybe… maybe not. Also planning on at least one Site Update by the end of next week or somewhere in between. School is really getting in my way of everything. And I mean everything.

Devil May Cry 4 – Angel Scream

First thing noticeable is the new Devils that have been added.

Mephisto

This creature(s) I’m almost sure has not appeared in any trailer. Either that or I have totally missed it/them. Whatever it is, it looks tough and probably has some feeling like the Hell Vanguard from DMC 3.

White Knight

Just like Legendary Dark Knight, except now it’s white. Don’t be fooled, white doesn’t mean good in DMC. There are angel-like enemies all around but it doesn’t really matter… anything with a weapon is probably going to use it for taking some of your organs out. I can see Nero having some trouble with this as his Devil-Bringer is made for up-close & personal combat and these are not the kind of guys you want to be yanking up to your face. Dante will probably have a better chance at cutting through their armour.

These White Knights have also appeared several times in the old and newly edited trailers on the DMC 4 site. A whole lot of them start to attack Nero when he tries to get close to Kyrie. This is some plot development. Agnus seems to be against Nero because he is jealous of Nero’s d-d-d demonic power! Credo isn’t doing much. Ahem, moving on as I’ve said before and we’ve all seen before. Nero goes Emo-Mode, punches the ground while moaning and then tries to GRAB Kyrie’s breast. Well, he was probably trying to save her from the above White Knight but we all know what was also the reason.

Devil May Cry is also known for having great action, rock, and choir songs and a lot of it mixed in with each other! So what’s the Devil May Cry 4 soundtrack going to be like? From what I’ve heard, it sounds epic. Even better than DMC 3 which I thought was impossible. Nope, they’ve really gone out of their way to create great music for this game again. Tetsuya Shibata is directing the music again I THINK.

Here are the lyrics of the most frequent song heard in the trailers. These are just a guess so they may not be the perfectly fitting lyrics.
